Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you have managed?
As Marketing Coordinator for Black SEL, a national nonprofit supporting Black youth through social-emotional learning, I launched a weekly “Motivation Mondays” Reels series. The short-form videos doubled our average reach and strengthened audience connection. Similarly, as Multimedia Editor for Nubian Message, NC State’s Black student publication, I created TikTok-style promos for print issues that increased readership and social shares.

How do you stay updated with the latest trends in social media content creation?
I stay updated by actively tracking TikTok and Instagram Reels daily, paying attention to trending sounds, transitions, and storytelling styles. I also use resources like TikTok Creative Center and Instagram’s Creator blog to catch early trend reports and adapt them authentically for campaigns.
