It was my sophomore year of high school and I was determined to become a D1 athlete. I made a plan for myself and stuck with it. Each day I had my day planned out with either some sort of soccer, weightlifting, or running. A lot of the girls on my team wanted to become a D1 athlete as well. Although they wanted to, they didnt put in as much effort as me because they didnt think they needed to. During my junior year of high school I ended up commiting to play D1 soccer. I left a big impact for the upcoming girls, and showed that if you put in the work you will eventually get your outcome if you never give up and stay determined.
