What makes a recipe post stand out to you?
To me, a recipe post stands out when it successfully balances aesthetic "crave-ability" with high-speed utility. In a feed full of content, a post wins when it hits three specific notes:First, it needs a "Pattern Interrupt" hook. I love posts that start with the finished, mouth-watering result—like a close-up of a steaming, golden-brown pastry from my recent international baking projects—paired with a text overlay that addresses a specific pain point. For Clove, that might look like: "Stop gatekeeping recipes you’ll never find again," followed immediately by the solution: the Clove app saving that exact dish in one tap.Second, I’m drawn to sensory storytelling. I lean into high-quality audio (ASMR) and "raw" visuals—the sound of a knife through a crusty loaf of bread or the vibrant colors of fresh ingredients in natural light. These "honest" shots build trust faster than overly polished studio footage. I love when a creator narrates their own "international twist," sharing a personal story from their travels that makes the recipe feel like an exclusive discovery rather than just another tutorial. Finally, the post must have "Save-worthy" value. A stand-out recipe doesn't just show the what; it shows the how through smart transitions and text overlays that make the process look effortless. By highlighting how Clove handles the "mental load" of grocery listing and meal planning, I can turn a 15-second video into a resource that viewers feel compelled to save and revisit. For me, a great post is one that leaves the viewer thinking, "I could actually do that tonight."

How would you create engaging cooking content for social media?
For Clove, they are looking for high-volume, high-energy content that solves a problem. Since this role includes mentorship from a high-level Head of Marketing, you want to show that you are coachable, data-driven, and already have a unique "flavor" (your international baking/cooking).Here is a response that perfectly blends your FSU life, your study abroad experience, and the "viral" mindset they want:To create engaging cooking content for Clove, I focus on the "Aha!" moment—the specific point where a viewer realizes a cooking hack or a smart app feature just made their life ten times easier. As a Marketing and HR student who is constantly on the move, my strategy is to combine high-speed, aesthetic visuals with high-value utility.Because I studied abroad in Italy, I love creating content around "Global Cooking Hacks"—showing how to recreate authentic, international flavors in a busy college kitchen. My content would leverage the "Student of the World" aesthetic, using Clove as the "secret weapon" that organizes my international recipes and turns them into a seamless grocery list. I’d use "hook-driven" storytelling, starting videos with lines like, "How I eat like I'm still in Florence on a Tallahassee budget," followed by a fast-paced demo of the Clove app’s AI saving a recipe from a social feed.I am also a firm believer in the "Real-Life Stress Test." Between intramural sports and my work at the College of Communication, I don't have time for complicated meal prep. I would create "Daily Reset" GRWM-style cooking videos: 15-second clips showing how I use Clove to plan my week in under 2 minutes. By focusing on "Low Effort, High Aesthetic" results, I can speak directly to the busy, health-conscious Gen Z audience. I am ready to use the algorithm-warming techniques and 1:1 mentorship to iterate my way to viral content, turning my passion for international baking into a growth engine for Clove.
