I am a business marketing and integrated strategic communications double major with a minor in digital media and design. I am a senior, so I have spent my past four years becoming familiar with Kentuckys culture while simultaneously falling in love with it. In my spare time I practice yoga, discover music, and make an assortment of plant-based recipes. Post-graduation (ah), I see myself reading more books and making the salary of my manifested dreams in an industry that I am passionate about.

How would you describe Home From College to a friend in one sentence?

Home From College provides you with something the career center doesn’t, freshness. Jobs are out, and gigs are in. While the university may take a more traditional route, Home From College is up to date on current trends and networking tips you can apply to your personal brand today. Not to mention… PAID internships.

Describe your design philosophy and where you find inspiration.

My philosophy of design is that it is the answer to a question, and the path it takes to get there. The art of design is a process that initiated critical thinking and creative problem solving. Design finds the answers. I find inspiration specifically on social media. It is negligent to reject social media as art, when it opens our eyes to more things we have ever been able to take in before. Crafting a feed that is more than latte pics and selfies has taken time, but has allowed me to have inspiration at the tap of a finger, literally.
