Interview Questions
Robyn AI
Data Analyst Intern

What excites you about this internship at Robyn AI?
AI, the thought of getting to work with real AI data, especially with customer behavior and personality, which I can use to segment them into groups to better gauge and understand them better.
I have been indulging myself in how to form analytical questions from business questions and data storytelling. I have come to understand that data analytics is more than analyzing data. These are skills I aim and look forward to putting into my work with Robyn AI.
I have done A/B testing, Ad-hoc testing and SWOT analysis in my personal projects, especially the student clearance management system. I believe with real-time guidance at Robyn AI, I can put these skills to good use and contribute my absolute best during my time with you.

Do you have any experience with tools like SQL, Python, Excel, or analytics platforms (e.g., PostHog, Mixpanel)?
I have extensive experience in SQL, Python and Excel. I am still progressing in my journey with Power BI, Tableau, AWS and Azure. All listed above are still a work in progress, the exciting thing about the tech world is that I get to keep on learning. I first want to be a bit more confident in these skills before I get on to working with analytics platforms, I willing to learn and looking forward to it with the incredible guidance I would be sure to receive upon being selected to work at and with Robyn AI.

What are 2 consumer apps you love and why do you think they’ve gone viral or built strong user habits?
Food delivery apps like Glovo in my country or Swiggy and Zomato in India. They real ease the process of getting food and groceries, being someone who prefers to stay at home, getting to that and have stock is super convinient.
AI, LLMs like ChatGPT have also made learning and access to information faster, much as I still feel the need to do extensive research since AI can get some things wrong, the ease and speed at which I can get information these days is fascinating. I have learnt to make AI my companion it terms of work, rather than being completely dependent on it.
These, among others, I believe also offer extensive data that I can enjoy working on. Delivery apps generate a lot of data that can be used to understand consumers and their preferences better. Learning how to build AI has also proven to be quite an exciting and incredible journey.
