How do you incorporate creativity while following a script?

I treat the script as the key points that need to hit, not word-for-word lines. So I'll make sure the main message and CTA are there but deliver them in a way that feels natural to how I actually talk. I also add personality through timing, tone, and reaction moments that aren't written but make the content feel less robotic. Like pausing for effect or throwing in a genuine reaction that reinforces the point. If the script feels stiff I'll rearrange the order or find a better transition that keeps the same info but flows better on camera. The goal is making it sound like something I'd actually say to a friend, not something I'm reading. Visuals and editing are where a lot of creativity comes in too. Even with a set script, how you frame shots, what's happening on screen, or how you cut between moments can completely change the energy of the video.

What’s your experience creating viral short videos on TikTok or Instagram?

I create UGC content that I send directly to brands for them to use, and those videos have gotten hundreds of thousands of impressions when they post them. On my personal account I've also hit 5 million views on a video, so I know what resonates. The biggest thing I've learned is the hook in the first 2 seconds decides everything. And being specific instead of generic makes people stop because it feels like you're talking to them, not at everyone. For Neon specifically, the challenge is making something people already do - talk on the phone - feel valuable in a new way. The angle would be less "here's how the app works" and more "you're already doing this for free" which reframes the behavior and makes the value prop click immediately.

.

I'm hype about this opportunity, especially the coaching aspect since learning from people who've actually grown accounts to that level would be huge for improving my own content. I think there's a lot of untapped potential in showing Turbo AI in less obvious study scenarios. Most AI study content is just "look how fast this summarized my notes" but I'd want to show it solving actual pain points like when you're completely lost in a lecture and need to catch up before the next class, or using it to prep for office hours so you don't sound clueless in front of your professor. I'd also lean into the contrast of "how I thought I'd use AI" versus "how I actually use it" because the real use cases are way more relatable than the polished productivity porn most people post. Like using it at 2am when your brain stopped working, or fixing an essay draft that makes no sense after you reread it. The talk-to-camera format works well for building that trust factor where people feel like they're getting honest advice from someone who actually uses the tool, not just promoting it.
