How have they affected daily life?
I can feel embarrassed or unmotivated to go out in public or work. It's scary to think of how others may perceive you with cold sores exposed in the open. I typically will wear a mask to cover it, to ease my anxiety.

I've gotten cold sores once every year without fail for the last 7 years. I get them on my lips typically.

Do you experience cold sores?
Yes, I have gotten cold sores on my mouth before. It is painful and embarrassing but I understand that a large percentage of society gets cold sores and it is nothing to be ashamed of! I'm constantly working to eliminate that shame!
