i always start with a strong hook in the first 2 seconds, something that makes people stop scrolling. i keep the pacing quick, use captions, and match the audio energy to the message. i also make sure there’s a takeaway..either a small tip or a relatable line that makes people feel like “ok yeah, that’s me.” !!!

What inspires you to create authentic short videos about study or productivity?

honestly, i like showing the real side of trying to stay productive — not the fake “aesthetic” version. people relate more when it feels like an actual day, not a perfect one. i like making short clips that motivate but still feel real and human, like showing how i actually organize my day or fight procrastination.

i’d start with creators who match pound cake’s message of inclusive beauty and confidence — people who actually connect with their audience instead of just posting product shots. for example, mikayla nogueira (authentic makeup reviews, huge trust factor), nyma tang (known for inclusivity in shade ranges), and monet mcmichael (fun, relatable, and fits the aesthetic). they’d each bring a different audience but still align with the brand’s mission.
