If you were hired, how would you approach building out a content plan for Deep Blue?

If I were hired, I would work on drafting a content strategy for Deep Blue by first gaining an understanding of the brand's voice, values, and current audience. Then, I would develop a content pillar outline for consistency but with a rotation. For example:

Style/Fit Content: Fit checks daily or weekly showcasing how to style Deep Blue pieces in everyday life.

Educational Posts: Bite-sized, engaging videos that showcase the brand's sustainability efforts and why sustainable fashion matters.

Trend-Based Content: Relying on popular audios, challenges, or formats to be on-trend while still reflecting the brand voice.

Community Content: Dressing customers, students, or creators in Deep Blue gear to build engagement and devotion.

I'd create a calendar to program 30 short videos in these types of genres so there's a balance between entertainment, learning, and inspiration. I'd also engage personally with the comments, DMs, and tagged posts to build the community while tracking analytics to know what works best and optimize the plan for reach and impact.

What do you think is more important for a brand: going viral or building consistent community engagement? Why?

I think building a niche, committed community is the best option in the long run. Going viral can create short bursts of attention, but brands that prioritize consistency and authenticity attract people who truly love the product. This builds loyalty and lasting engagement, rather than just seasonal interest from a trend or short-lived spark.
