I'm based in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Morningside Heights as I'm currently attending Barnard College as a rising senior!

What excites you about our mission?
What fascinates me most about Twos' mission of spreading happiness through conversation is how it echoes what I've personally experienced: the most genuine relationships frequently begin with mundane, everyday discussions. I've always felt that meeting unfamiliar people broadens our perspectives and helps us to gain valuable insights from each connection. Even when I don't go out to socialize with strangers, I've discovered that college organically provides such possibilities especially on the first day of school, when everyone is adjusting to new environments and ready to interact. Those brief, often awkward beginnings have frequently evolved into familiar faces I look forward to seeing each week, as well as friendships that reach well beyond the classroom. One of the most significant instances for me was during pre-orientation, when I formed bonds with fellow first-generation students. Over the last four years, what began as chats about sharing a common identity has evolved into some of my most cherished friendships. That encounter taught me the value of simple, open-minded interactions in fostering community and lasting fulfillment. Twos' mission appeals to me because it allows individuals to make the same significant relationships, not through performance or hardship, but through genuine human communication.
