Interview Questions
DoorList
Campus Growth Intern

What organizations would you approach to host DoorList events?
To increase the popularity of DoorList on campus, I would approach organizations with a high percentage of student engagement. Fraternities, sororities, and cultural programs would likely bring in a high volume of DoorList users and events due to their connections. I'm currently an officer for a startup club, so having direct access to something that could make event planning easier could help drive the club's and DoorList's growth. These partnerships could form a long-term usage of DoorList for the social life at universities and help expand to other organizations that would find it helpful to use this platform.

What’s one brand or account that’s crushing TikTok/IG right now — and why?
One brand that’s been doing well on TikTok and Instagram is e.l.f. Cosmetics. They've done a great job of using trends to drive content with smart product placement, especially through TikTok Shop, a widely used shopping platform. A recent example is their response to the DIY Halo Lip Gloss trend: e.l.f. leaned into the hype by launching a DIY lip gloss kit, knowing their audience would purchase it. I've also seen them interacting with the community and humanizing their company/page. They're constantly in the comments, engaging with users, and using creators to spotlight new releases in fun ways, making the brand feel approachable.

Can you SHARE/discuss a successful social media campaign you've worked on in the past and what made it effective?
In my current role as Marketing and Design Officer for a student startup club, I've focused heavily on creating aesthetic and engaging content across our social media platforms. By prioritizing visual consistency and brand alignment, we were able to grow our account to over 100 followers in a matter of less than three days. This early momentum helped establish credibility and community interest in our club. Maintaining a clean, recognizable visual identity has been key in building trust and attracting new members.
