How do you stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes?

I'm honestly a bit obsessed with staying on top of social media changes because nothing's worse than a client asking why their reach dropped and me having no clue. I start each day checking the official channels - Instagram for Business, Facebook IQ, that stuff - plus I'm in several Facebook groups where other managers are constantly sharing "hey, anyone else notice engagement tanking this week?" Those real-time conversations often catch algorithm changes before they're officially announced.

I also geek out over analytics daily because the data usually tells the story before the platforms do. When I see engagement patterns shifting across multiple client accounts, I know something's up and can start testing new approaches immediately. It's like being a detective—you piece together clues from official announcements, community chatter, and your own account performance to stay ahead of the game. This way, I can pivot strategies fast and keep delivering results instead of scrambling to figure out what went wrong.
