My experience coordinating remote teams stems from my experience with both the New York Academy of Science's Junior Academy and Thinker's Chronicle. With the Junior Academy, I led a team of international students through different levels of our project proposal. I organized virtual meetings, broke our proposal into smaller milestones, and ensured everyone’s ideas were equally heard and incorporated. As the editorial lead at Thinker's Chronicle (international student-led newspaper), I coordinated communications between the editor-in-chief and different editors all over the globe.

I prioritize tasks by assessing which tasks are time-sensitive and working in terms of urgency, then breaking tasks into smaller steps. For example, my volunteering experience at both Texas Health and Children's Health required juggling multiple tasks from both healthcare workers and patients and their families. I juggled guiding families with relaying surgical updates by focusing on the time-sensitive needs first. Similarly, while I was leading projects in the New York Academy of Science's Junior Academy, I coordinated an international team by setting milestones and delegating responsibilities, while juggling different timezones and different deadlines.
