How would you plan a wellness event?
wellness is more effective when people see themselves in it. I’d use my panel that I’ve started called , The Next Bell, as a foundation by integrating wellness into discussions about college readiness, balance, and personal growth. The event would be structured so wellness isn’t treated as a separate topic, but as something that supports success before and after “the next bell” rings, whether that’s graduating high school, entering college, or navigating adulthood. Alongside the panel, I’d include interactive wellness stations, such as mental fitness check-ins, physical wellness tips, or short activities that attendees can try on the spot. I’d invite some colleagues and speakers who can speak honestly about managing stress, staying disciplined, and building healthy routines while pursuing academic and personal goals. Promotion would happen through schools, student organizations, and peer networks that I am involved in to ensure the event feels welcoming and relevant. Overall, the goal would be to create a space where wellness feels practical, relatable, and directly connected to everyday success not just something people hear about, but something they experience and take with them.

Share a little about your interest in fitness on campus.
My fitness on campus is a big part of my daily routine. I go to the gym every day, and it’s not just about working out it’s my way of staying disciplined, managing stress, and staying focused academically. Being on campus makes it easy to stay consistent, whether that’s lifting, doing cardio, or just moving my body between classes. The gym has become a space where I can mentally stay motivated by being around other students who value fitness as much as I do.
