Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience

Yes, I have experience selling through my own baking business, Cole’s Corner, where I take orders both online and in person. Managing the business taught me how important customer service and clear communication are—whether that meant responding quickly to online inquiries or building a welcoming experience during in-person sales. I also learned how to market products creatively on social media to reach new customers and how to balance logistics like inventory, pricing, and delivery. Overall, the experience showed me that selling is not just about the product but about creating trust and building relationships with customers.

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?

My video creation process usually starts with inspiration. I spend time on Pinterest gathering visual ideas, aesthetics, and concepts that spark creativity. From there, I think about how those ideas can realistically fit into my everyday life—whether that’s through storytelling, lifestyle shots, or behind-the-scenes moments. Once I have a theme or message, I plan the structure of the video so that each clip pushes that overall message forward. I focus on making sure the visuals, captions, and audio all work together to connect with my audience while still feeling authentic.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?

One of my Instagram reels from my week in Silicon Valley received more engagement than usual. The reel highlighted moments from visiting innovative companies, exploring the area, and closing with a nighttime plane shot paired with the narration, “Good night, Silicon Valley.” The storytelling element made the content feel cohesive, while the mix of fast-paced clips and calm closing imagery created a memorable arc. The reel also worked well because it showcased a personal yet aspirational experience that resonated with my audience—blending travel, career inspiration, and lifestyle in one piece of content. I believe the combination of authentic narration, creative editing, and relevance to my followers’ interests made it successful.
