I want to see how intuitive the product is to use for someone who does not know too much about it. It should also perform the task it was created for nearly flawlessly. Another important consideration is if it is accessible to many different types of people.

I am the co-editor of my university’s yearbook. As a part of the editor team, every year we comb through the entire book before sending it to printing. We read every blurb, make sure every picture is in place, and every name is spelled correctly. This year, I also put together the photographer index which credited each person who contributed to the book.

I will make sure to set deadlines and expectations with plenty of time to complete the task. I will also check in with every member of the team along the way to check progress and give time for feedback and questions. Depending on the timeline, a few different meetings would be helpful.
