What experience do you have with AI-powered tools in web development?
I have experience coding in Python, Java, R, C++, and HTML, and I’ve worked with large language models to explore how AI can support the development process. I’ve used them to help generate ideas, assist with coding tasks, and streamline parts of a project, while relying on my programming skills to adapt those outputs into functional, well-structured web components. My goal is always to keep the HTML clean, accessible, and user-friendly, using AI as a tool to speed up development and add a creative boost to the process.

How would you approach designing a web app to maximize usability while keeping it aesthetically appealing?
I’d start by getting to know the target audience and what they need so the app feels natural and intuitive for them to use. I’d map out simple user flows and wireframes to make sure navigation is clear, then build on that foundation with UI/UX best practices like consistent layouts, clear hierarchy, and responsive design. From there, I’d bring the app to life with aesthetically pleasing, brand-aligned colors, thoughtful typography, and subtle animations that make the experience feel engaging without overwhelming the user. My goal would be to create something that’s both functional and beautiful, then refine it through real user feedback to make sure it’s as enjoyable and easy to use as possible.

Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience
Yes, I’ve sold digital products online, including birthday invitations that I designed and listed through Pinterest. One of my designs started gaining a lot of traction and led to consistent downloads and sales. I learned how important visual appeal and search optimization are by using the right keywords, pin design, and seasonal timing made a huge difference in visibility. It also taught me how to think like a buyer. I paid attention to what people were searching for, made sure the product was easy to access and customize, and responded to messages quickly if anyone had questions. That experience gave me a better understanding of online consumer behavior and how small design and marketing choices can really influence what sells.
