Describe your experience making creative and thoughtful assets (eg: funny ppts, beautiful landing pages etc.)
I’ve had a lot of experience creating both fun and polished creative assets through social media marketing, brand projects, and student organizations. For my sorority, I’ve helped plan and curate our Instagram feed by maintaining a consistent aesthetic, color palette, and overall brand vibe, while also brainstorming upcoming post concepts and TikTok content ideas that feel current and engaging. I love thinking about how individual pieces of content fit into a larger visual identity and community presence instead of just treating posts as one offs.I also worked with Melo on content and marketing projects, where I helped brainstorm short form content ideas, trend based concepts, brand visuals, and campaign creative that matched the brand’s voice and aesthetic. I really enjoy the balance between strategy and creativity, especially figuring out how to make something feel elevated, intentional, and attention grabbing while still feeling natural and personality-driven.

How do you research trends and come up with ideas for short-form content?
As someone who's frequently online and consuming content anyway, trend research feels pretty natural to me. I pay attention to the kinds of videos that make me stop scrolling, what people are reposting, what sounds keep showing up, and how creators are editing or framing things in new ways. I save a lot of content for inspiration, but I think the key is taking a trend and making it feel elevated and specific to the brand instead of just copying it. Most of the best short form content right now feels casual, culturally aware, and personality driven, so I like coming up with ideas that feel current while still feeling intentional and on brand. The real key to successful content is connecting with your audience, so that means knowing who you want to connect with, how you want to make them feel, and how to build an online presence that draws people into your brand identity.

What are the key components that make a viral video?
Honestly, that’s hard to say because all kinds of videos go viral these days, and there’s definitely no single formula for it. But I think the biggest common factor is that the video makes people feel something immediately, whether that’s curiosity, or nostalgia, or humor, or even the urge to send it to someone it makes them think of. A strong hook in the first few seconds often matters a lot, but so does authenticity. The content that performs best, from what I've seen, feels natural, culturally aware, and easy to engage with instead of overly polished. Things like timing, editing pace, sound choice, like using trending audios, and relatability all play a role too. Still, at the end of the day, viral content is content that people want to share with eachother.
