This role includes reaching out to local restaurants and student leaders. How would you handle that outreach each week?
I’d take time to go into local restaurants each week and speak with the management team, making sure to have all the information available to them so I can show how beneficial the program would be. I have friends in the UK Student Body Government that can help me pitch the idea and spread awareness there. In addition, my connections through my previous supervisory role in campus recreation and wellness can help me reach out to programs like UK CARES in order to increase student awareness through them.

How would you promote a cause on your campus and get students to pay attention?
Posting on all social media platforms to class stories, talking to sororities/fraternities on campus and getting them involved, and setting up tables in high traffic areas on campus to spread awareness

Are you involved in any campus organizations and if so, what charity do you support?
I’m not at the moment, however my girlfriend is currently in Gamma Phi Beta supporting charities like Girls on the Run
