The Margaritaville Crocs is one of the best examples I can think of. Traditionally, Margaritavile has been seen by college-aged people as a relic of the past, a chain that their grandparents go to. However, there's nearly no one on my campus who doesn't own a pair of crocs. The shot glass jibbitz that come with the crocs appeal to the campiness of college party culture. I now catch my friends actively listening to Jimmy Buffet.

Honestly, I would consider my life defined by the arts in a number of ways. It's been the most vital tool for my own self-identity and exploration. Art is invaluable; it's indispensable.
