Can you share an experience where your data management skills positively impacted business operations?
In my role as Operations & Customer Experience Coordinator at Designer Blooms, I was responsible for managing a large volume of customer orders—over 600—and maintaining accurate sales and fulfillment data. By carefully analyzing order patterns and delivery logistics, I identified bottlenecks in the courier coordination process that were causing delays. I implemented a streamlined system to better track shipments and communicate proactively with courier partners. Enhancing customer satisfaction but also reducing the workload caused by follow-up inquiries and complaints. These improvements directly boosted sales and operational efficiency, demonstrating how effective data management can positively impact business outcomes.

In a given week, your responsibilities range from updating financial models, to scheduling with external partners, to tracking inventory movement, to prepping decks for a marketing meeting. How do you prioritize and execute when everything is urgent?
I always start by mapping out the week—breaking down what’s truly time-sensitive, what impacts others’ timelines, and what tasks offer the biggest ROI. When everything feels urgent, I prioritize based on dependencies: if a florist is waiting on inventory updates or a partner needs a final order list, I handle those first to keep the larger workflow unblocked. I spreadsheets to stay visually organized, and I batch similar tasks (like finances and inventory tracking) to reduce context-switching. Prepping decks or updating models usually gets scheduled for quieter pockets of the day so I can focus. I’m not afraid to flag when something needs to shift, but I make sure the job gets done, on time and with precision.
