Plufl
Social & Content Intern
What's one social/content strategy you'd implement as Plufl's Social Content Intern?
During my time as newsletter editor for my school's newspaper, the open rate went up 35% due to my in-depth statistical analysis of what articles got the most clicks. I created an extensive Excel spreadsheet of every newsletter sent out and made decisions from there on what would get the highest viewership. This is one thing I would implement as a social content intern for Plufl. Gathering analytics from posts and seeing how well they perform is one of the most essential parts of content creation as you need to be able to understand what people like to see to better cater to your audiences.

Not only have I had most major social media apps for almost 10 years, but I also have experience running a professional social media account. In high school, I ran my school’s athletics Instagram account. This involved creating and editing video recaps of all major sporting events, making graphics on Canva, and overseeing all content posted on the account.
I am also confident in my content creation skills due to my past experience as the Newsletter Editor for The Heights, the independent student newspaper of Boston College. For a year, I designed and sent out our newsletter to over 10,000 people, three times a week using Mailchimp. During my time as newsletter editor, the open rate went up 35% due to my in-depth statistical analysis of what articles got the most clicks. I created an extensive Excel spreadsheet of every newsletter sent out and made decisions from there on what would get the highest viewership.
