Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?
I can think of an example of a time I mobilized people around something I felt passionate about just yesterday! Yesterday was Giving Tuesday, and I'm the Vice President of Public Relations of the largest student-run philanthropy on my campus. I worked with my PR team to create and execute a campaign that spanned over 2000 students, ending up raising close to $4,000 in one day, all for our local children's hospital. I'm known among my friends as the one who always makes them pull out their phone and create a Facebook fundraiser, text their extended family to get involved in the cause, or buy merch. I believe that creating a meaningful, positive, and impactful community is the best way to mobilize people and spread one's passion for a cause.

Influencer Strategy
What is the most creative gifting initiative you've seen a brand execute?
I think Set Active has some great strategies! One that comes to mind is then sending out sets in personalized fry cleaner bags, as if the person just picked them up from the dry cleaner. I also saw recently that they sent out product that wasn’t just their own, sending our skincare and other summertime essentials as a little kit. This is amazing because not only is it genuine, sending out product other than your own, but also can create an entire feel for the brand that extends beyond just the one of two products that the brand may be promoting.

TikTok Content Strategist
Describe an interesting TikTok video you've created, and why do you think it was a good fit for the content style of the platform?
A great Tik Tok I made was for the organization I’m a part of, UMass Dance Marathon. I used the “Puff the magic dragon” sound and used the trend that people showed pictures that reminded them of their childhood. Instead of posting pictures from my childhood, I made it “POV: you weren’t raised crunchy, but you were raised by UMDM” and included photos from our seniors that they had taken in their freshman year as a part of the organization. Everyone loved seeing their old photos from 4 years ago, and it was able to play off the nostalgia of college, while also emphasizing the impact that UMDM had on these people’s personal growth. When entering college, everyone just wants to be part of something and make memories, and this Tik Tok showed that UMDM can be just that.
