what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
Since I am based in Austin, a big, artistic city, I’d lean into both the campus scene and the city’s culture to make sampling feel exciting. On campus, I’d host self-care makeup nights with my sorority where sisters can unwind, try ColourPop products, and do each other’s makeup. It turns sampling into a bonding experience, and it naturally encourages word-of-mouth across campus. Off campus, I’d take advantage of Austin’s popular spots by partnering with pop-up markets or apartment complexes that students and young creatives already frequent. ColourPop samples could be included in event “get ready” bags, tying the brand into Austin’s social and creative lifestyle. By connecting ColourPop to both sorority life and Austin’s city energy, sampling would feel fun, memorable, and perfectly aligned with student life.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I’d engage my audience by leaning into ColourPop’s fun, trendy, and relatable vibe, especially on a college campus. Being heavily involved with my sorority, I’d promote the products in ways that feel natural to student life, such as "getting-ready-for-class" TikToks, sorority events, and minimalist videos. I’d use TikTok to share products and looks, as well as create interactive content like pop-ups and challenges within the campus community. By tying ColourPop into everyday college moments and campus involvement, it makes the brand feel accessible, fun, and a big part of students’ lives!
