As the Advertising Coordinator for the independent short film, A Cigarette Chat, I created a GoFundMe account under my director's (Kimberley Jade) name and managed to hit our goal of $500 in the first couple of hours.
I sent the fundraiser link to my entire network spanning across the local film Facebook groups, Instagram, group texts, and Discord servers.
