How comfortable are you with approaching people to promote a product? Can you share an example of when you successfully convinced someone to try or buy something?
I’m very comfortable approaching people to promote a product, especially when I believe in the value it offers. I take a personable and genuine approach, focusing on how the product can benefit the person I’m speaking to. One example was when I promoted a local café’s loyalty program to fellow students on campus. I personally approached a few students who frequently grabbed coffee and shared how the program could save them money in the long run. I emphasized the convenience and the rewards of being a regular customer. By making it relevant to their habits and needs, I was able to convince several of them to sign up, which led to increased engagement for the café. The key was understanding their needs and presenting the product in a way that felt natural and beneficial.

To stay up-to-date with current social media trends and algorithms, I regularly follow industry leaders and platforms’ updates, such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter’s blogs or help centers. I also subscribe to newsletters like Social Media Examiner and attend webinars or workshops focused on social media marketing. I keep an eye on trending hashtags, viral challenges, and popular content formats to stay ahead of emerging trends. Additionally, I actively test out new features on different platforms and monitor my content’s performance to understand how algorithm changes affect engagement. Engaging with online communities and social media groups dedicated to content creation also helps me share insights and learn from others’ experiences. This combination of research, experimentation, and community engagement ensures that my content remains relevant and optimized for engagement.
