As a mentor for the Crimson Summer Academy at Harvard, I returned to support the same program that believed in me and helped me prepare for college. I guided high school students from underrepresented backgrounds through workshops, college prep, and personal development. I made sure they felt heard, encouraged, and capable; just like I did when I was in their shoes. Being that kind of presence for someone else felt full circle.

Yes, I’ve built a good relationship with one of my professors in the Media, Culture, and Communication department at NYU. She’s worked in both media and academia, and has given me valuable advice about navigating the professional world. We’ve stayed in touch beyond the classroom, and I appreciate her support and guidance as I explore career paths in media and business.
