Interview Questions
MUSAY
Part-Time Social Media Coordinator for Musay
what are three content ideas you have for musay?
1. "Find Your Vibe" Series
Short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) where real people describe their cultural personality in one word (ex: "quirky," "artsy," "underground") and MUSAY reveals a local event that perfectly matches them. It makes the app feel personal and discovery-driven.
2. "Hidden Gem of the Week"
A weekly post spotlighting an underrated local art show, pop-up, or cultural event that most people don't know about. Positions MUSAY as the insider guide, not just an event listing app. Works great as a carousel on Instagram or a talking-head TikTok.
3. "Before vs. After MUSAY"
UGC-style content where creators show their weekend "before MUSAY" (scrolling aimlessly, bored at home) vs. "after MUSAY" (at a cool gallery opening or live performance). Relatable, shareable, and directly sells the app's value in a fun way.
Why these work for MUSAY specifically:
They highlight the discovery angle, which is MUSAY's core identity
They're native to TikTok and Instagram culture
They can easily be handed off to content creators you recruit through the platform

Do you have experience managing a brand's social media? Tell us about how you approached this!
Absolutely! I have over 6 years of experience managing social media across multiple platforms, both for myself and for organizations.
Most recently, at Omla, I managed full social media operations for One Way across Instagram, TikTok, and an in-app platform. I used tools like Google Keyword Planner for SEO research, ManyChat for automation, and AI tools like Heygen and Nanobanana to produce scripts, videos, and visual assets. I also grew and moderated Reddit community pages, which taught me how to adapt tone and content to very different platform cultures.
Before that, I worked with USAM and Team Helm Elthawya, where I handled content strategy, script writing, community engagement, and collaboration with designers and editors.
On the personal side, I founded my own YouTube channel in 2019, which I grew organically to 18,000+ subscribers and over 1 million views using SEO, consistent posting, and audience analytics. I also ran a clothing e-commerce store on Instagram and TikTok, handling everything from content to customer support.
My approach always starts with understanding the audience, then building content that is consistent, platform-native, and data-informed.
