Sports Card Content Creator

How do you approach creating engaging content for a niche audience like sports card collectors?
I approach creating content for niche audiences like sports card collectors by first understanding what excites and connects them — whether it’s discovering a card’s value, nostalgia, or big finds. I create short, relatable, and visually appealing videos using my Android phone and tools like Canva and PixelLab. I focus on quick storytelling, clear visuals, and using trends or hooks that card collectors care about. Even with simple tools, I make sure the content is clean, on-brand, and engaging enough to spark comments or shares from the community.

do you have access to a professional camera and editing software?
I don’t personally own a professional camera, but I do have access to one through a friend who lends me their gear when I have projects. I make sure to use high-quality equipment and also edit using software like Adobe Lightroom or other professional tools. So even though the camera isn’t mine, I’m still able to deliver high-resolution, well-edited photos that meet brand standards.

Can you provide an example of a product photography project you worked on?
I haven’t worked on a paid product photography project yet, but I’ve been preparing by studying brand aesthetics and practicing with my own passion project. For example, I’m currently working on a personal candle photography series, where I plan and shoot 15 high-quality images that reflect themes of calmness, kindness, and sustainability. I’m experimenting with natural lighting, neutral props, and cozy compositions to tell a visual story that matches eco-conscious values. This project is helping me build my portfolio and get hands-on experience so I can deliver consistent and emotionally resonant content for future brands.
