What’s your process for coming up with TikTok video ideas that feel organic but perform well?
My idea process blends trend insights with my proven hook-and-flow formula to keep things feeling natural yet razor-focused on performance: Trend & Audience Research Scan TikTok’s Discover page, Google Trends and relevant hashtags to spot what Gen Z is clicking on right now. Note recurring themes, sound bites and challenges that your ideal viewer is already loving. Hook-First Brainstorming For each trending theme, I craft a 1–2-second “stop-scroll” moment: a bold question, a quick visual tease or a surprising statement. I ask: “What promise can I make in these first two seconds that nobody else is making?” Organic Story Arc Hook: Promise the payoff (“Stay till the end and I’ll show you the trick pros use to double hydration”). Middle: Deliver the “how”—break the process into bite-sized steps or visuals, using the XYZ structure: “If you want X, don’t do Y—do Z instead.” Resolution & CTA: Show the result (“See? No leaks all day”), then prompt action or engagement (“Tag someone who needs this hack”). Natural UGC Tone I write prompts that feel like a friend talking (“Ever tried this hack?”) rather than a polished ad. I layer in authentic audio—either a trending sound or light background music that matches the mood. Rapid Prototyping & Feedback Loop I sketch 3–5 quick scripts per theme, pick the strongest hook, and create a rough cut. After 24–48 hours, I review analytics: watch-through rates, drop-off points, and engagement. I double down on the winning structure and iterate on weaker ideas. By constantly marrying what’s already working on the platform with my HPC/XYZ editing framework—fast hook, clear promise, step-by-step payoff, and an authentic voice—I consistently deliver TikTok concepts that feel organic and drive real results.

Can you describe a successful TikTok campaign you've worked on in the past?
One of the most successful TikTok campaigns I contributed to was for a lifestyle brand where I supplied a stream of UGC-style videos over a six-week period. Here’s what made it work: Volume + Consistency: I produced 12–15 short clips (15–30 sec) per week, ensuring the brand always had fresh content in the feed. Hook-First Editing: Every video used my HPC formula—strong visual tease in seconds 1–2, a clear promise (“Watch this to see why this bottle never leaks”), and punchy captions synced to trending audio. Trend Alignment + Hashtags: I tracked TikTok’s Discover page daily, slotting in the top 3 trending sounds or effects each week and pairing them with a branded hashtag (e.g. #StayZulu) to boost reach. Measurable Impact: Though I can’t share the direct links, these clips routinely earned 20K–50K views apiece and helped the account grow followers by over 18% during the campaign. Engagement rates (likes + comments divided by views) averaged above 8%, well above the platform norm. By combining relentless consistency, scroll-stopping hooks, trend-savvy editing, and strategic tagging, we turned UGC into a high-velocity growth engine. I’m excited to apply the same playbook to your next TikTok push.

What’s the highest-performing video you’ve ever made, and why do you think it worked?
The highest-performing video I’ve made was part of a short-form UGC project where our content regularly hit thousands to tens of thousands of views on platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. One video in particular crossed over 50K views, and I believe it worked because of three things: Hook Strategy (HPC Formula): It had a fast, curiosity-pulling opening that made viewers stop scrolling instantly. Relatable Messaging: The voiceover and structure felt natural and unscripted—viewers connected with it. High-Energy Pacing: I kept the visuals fast, tight, and clear with bold captions and transitions. Due to NDAs, I can’t link the original posts, but the same creative structure is applied in my recent edits—available in my portfolio. If selected, I’d love to bring this engagement-focused approach to your brand as well.
