COLLEGE SPORTS: CONSUMER INSIGHTS SURVEY
What do you enjoy most about attending your schools football games, game day events, or live/watch parties?
I enjoy experiencing the sporting events with all of my friends the most. It truly makes the game feel so communal when my friends and I are all cheering together and are experiencing the same highs and lows. We also lift up one of our friends in the air every time we score a touchdown or field goal. Also being in the big house is such an incredibly experience that I will never get tired of. I always wait to see the attendance for the game they show during the 3rd quarter and it always amazes me how many people care about watching a game, and are experiencing it together. The big house is such an incredibly sight to see, especially on Maize Outs, the whole thing looks yellow.

Please share one experience you've had around college sports on your campus?
My sophomore year I went to my first men’s soccer game as a spectator. I’ve loved and participated in sports all my life but never had a passion towards men’s soccer. It was Michigan Vs Michigan State- huge rivalry game. It was tied, or close to tied near the end of the same- I honestly don’t remember which one. But what I do remember is my friends and I getting up and walking to the edge of the field, screaming at MSU to try and distract them and cheering for UMich. I suddenly felt this strong school pride and passion for soccer, that I had never felt before. I cheered and screamed along with my friends until the end of the game with Michigan suddenly coursing through my veins. Suddenly I had become a very vocal sports fan- something I had never been before- all because of a rivalry I had just been introduced to. I went to a few more soccer games that season, but none after that. As a junior now, I don’t go to their games, but rather go to a lot of hockey games, and experience a similar feeling
