One strategy to grow student users that could be effective in Q1 would be increasing the amount of college campuses with H/FC campus team members. With more presence, especially in the west, H/FC could quickly expand to more users who are eager for the kinds of opportunities that H/FC offers.

My best friend in high school journaled avidly. Everywhere we went she seemed to have her journal with her. She is a writer so it made sense that she was constantly jotting down ideas. I asked her about it once and with a smile on her face she said that while everything around her was uncertain, she always knew she'd have her journal and writing. She told me it'd be there for me too if I ever needed it. Right after finishing high school, I had some traumatic events that caused me to loose sight of who I was and who I wanted to be. I decided I would take a page from my best friend's journal and see if journaling could change my perspective on things like it had hers. It helped me to believe that I was capable again and that there was a place for me in this world. Whenever I am feeling lost or uncertain, I know journalling is in my back pocket waiting to lift me up and get me through.

I have more than six months of experience facilitating University classes through Zoom and IVC broadcasts. While most of the job is setting up technology and troubleshooting any issues that come up, I have found it to be rewarding to engage with the students to create a positive learning environment. These skills would transfer to this position well and would help me be a successful moderator.
