Interview Questions
Uber
Uber Back to School Brand Ambassador - Ohio State

How would you approach promoting Uber's Back-to-School Activation to students?
1. On-Campus Presence Pop-Up Activation Booths: Set up at high-traffic areas like the Oval, outside Thompson Library, or near dining halls. Offer Uber promo codes, giveaways (like tote bags, water bottles, or phone wallets), and QR codes to download the app. Gamedays specifically have a lot of high traffic and crowds. So I would make sure to promote then.
2. Digital Campaign Create OSU-Specific Content: TikToks or Reels showing "first day back" rides, Uber Eats dorm delivery hauls, or safe rides to/from parties or night classes.
Hashtags: Use custom tags like #BackWithUberOSU or #RideIntoFallOSU.
3. Collaborations Partner with Student Orgs: Sponsor move-in events, Greek life welcome weeks, or student-run events with Uber credits or branded materials.
Local Businesses: Offer Uber Eats deals with local student-favorites like Buckeye Donuts or Bibibop.
4. Safety & Convenience Messaging Highlight Uber’s role in safe late-night rides, especially during game weekends or night classes, emphasizing ease and reliability.

How do you approach creating content that drives engagement?
I stay current with TikTok trends by regularly checking the For You page, TikTok’s Creative Center, and watching what creators in my niche are doing. I save trending audios or formats and adapt them to fit my brand—like using a viral sound to share a recipe, wellness tip, or running content that feels authentic to me.
