The beauty industry excites me because it transcends all boxes, binaries, and labels. The industry as a whole pushes individuals to explore their creativity and discover their own identity through the way they present themselves. It is not only a means of personal expression, but also one of interpersonal connection. To be able to work in this industry –– and thus facilitate the imaginative artistry it inspires in other people –– would be a privilege.

I am outgoing, driven, and always seeking to connect with new and diverse minds. I have experience leading large groups, namely serving as Student Body President and running a tennis camp as a junior tennis pro. I have a more quiet, collaborative leadership style. In other words, I retain assurance in my ideas and management skills, but am eager to hear the equal input of all and to ensure that the group works as a cohesive unit. Considering I would be working with my peers, I believe my approach to leadership would be attractive to people interested in this work and would best set up our team for success. I am eager to take on this role, and confident that I will flourish in it.
