To me, authenticity means showing your genuine, real self on all front. It is being the same person no matter who you are interacting with, and not putting on a front in order to make yourself look better to a certain group.

How do you create FOMO and social proof?

I create FOMO by using live, candid and interactive media such as TikTok or reels to showcase products. In the beauty industry, using relatable “normal” people to showcase products has produced an amazing effect at showing how products act in real life.

If a customer left a negative review how would you respond?

In order to have a strong customer base, we must keep the customer as a priority. I would first listen and validate the customer’s negative feelings, and then proceed with an action plan in order to retain customer loyalty and a positive perception of the brand. It would look something like this, “We are sorry you are experiencing this problem. Here at She Biology Skincare, we care about your experience and we strive to produce high quality products for all of our customers. Here’s what we can do _______”
