What experience do you have using salesforce?
My primary experience with Salesforce comes from my time in the Program for Excellence in Selling. During my first semester, I used Salesforce to track my progress as I worked to meet a quota of securing 4 golf players and generating $1,000 in sales. In my second semester, I continued using Salesforce to manage my outreach and follow-ups as I worked to sell a career booth to a company for our Sales Career Fair. Additionally, during that semester I learned how to use a cadence and was then tasked to reach out to people to convince them to join an info session for a master class program. This hands-on experience gave me a strong understanding of how to use Salesforce for pipeline management, tracking sales activities, and maintaining accurate records.

What experience do you have with data entry?
In my experience, I’ve used Salesforce to input and manage customer data, track interactions, and update records to ensure everything stays current and accurate. Some of the tasks I’ve handled in a CRM include:
Entering new customer information such as names, contact details, and demographic data.
Recording customer interactions—whether they came from phone calls, emails, or in-person visits—to create a complete history of each customer’s journey.
Updating sales records, like product purchases, order status, or follow-up dates, so the sales team had real-time data to work with.
Running data cleanup tasks, like removing duplicate records, correcting typos, and standardizing formats for consistency.

Explain your Experience working on a sales team and what sales platforms you have experience with?
I have experience in using Salesforce during my time in the Program for Excellence in Selling. This is from making an opportunity, accounts, and how to operate a cadence. I have worked on a sales team during my time in this program and when I interned at Mattress Firm. We collaborate on ensuring we meet our team quota. This is through assisting each other with our sales, seeking advice, roleplaying, or helping each other research a potential prospect. A more specific example, is when I was next to my team mate making a cold call. She was very nervous since making this call so we did some role-play before, but I also helped give potential advice or phrasing to help her close on a next meeting with her client. In the end, we started planning even further for what to expect for that next meeting and role play some more. At the end she was able to close on that sale.
