When I helped grow an online community through my cozy content TikTok and my volunteer work with the Red Cross, I focused on creating engaging, relatable content that aligned with each audience’s interests. Consistency, genuine interaction, and responding to comments worked really well for building trust and retention. What didn’t work was posting without a clear purpose, which taught me the value of strategy and timing when managing multiple platforms.

I track performance and adjust based on engagement to make sure the content stays effective and fresh.

I’d use social media to build genuine connection and community, not just promotion. To attract creators, I’d highlight real stories, short clips, reels, or posts that showcase how creators benefit from the platform, what opportunities they’ve found, and behind-the-scenes moments that feel authentic. I’d also tap into trending audio and relatable content styles so the message feels native to each platform.
