Pound Cake
TikTok Content Creator - 4 weeks

can you commit to 1 video/week, for 4 weeks? -- are you interested in a longer term content creation opportunity with pound Cake?
I can commit to 1 video/week for 4 weeks, as my school and work schedule is fairly light this semester. I am all for collaborating with minority-owned brands that focus on working with minority micro and macro-influencers. Having a long-term content creation opportunity would align with my goal of working with minority owned businesses as a public relations manager.

Brainstorm one area of opportunity for Poundcake! Be creative, out of the box, and think about our brand's value and mission.
When I hear the brand poundcake, obviously I am going to associate it with the delicious, sweet cake that is always a dessert at my family holiday gatherings. A way to market future products or an upcoming release would be to create a recipe book. Each page would be an association to the name of the lipgloss, for instance "gingerbread" would have the ingredients to making gingerbread and in the recipe, page would be that lipgloss that associates with the name. It would also be a perfect PR box, to send out to influencers and community partners.

Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience
About six years ago I used to have a lipgloss business when I was in high school. Since I was a child I always loved the way my lips looking and exploring the different shades of color I can put on my lips has never been a fear of mine. When I sold my products, I provided a service that was more for my peers. I curated products of colors that fit to their liking. By finding what shades matched best with their skin color or colors they wanted to just try. I enjoyed seeing my customers smile and be satisfied with my ideas that finally made it out my head. Selling products isn't just about the money. Considering I only made $50 from selling those products before COVID occurred, I learned that branding your brand to represent your qualities and interests will place trust among customers and your personal brand. It was easier for people to associate my brand with myself, rather than just that girl that sells lipgloss. No, I was Monet Jenkins, a varsity track runner that always had gloss on her lips when she ran and always made sure her customers looked good wherever they were.
