Interview Questions
Hulu
Hulu VIP Ambassador

How would you incentivize and persuade peers on campus to enter a secret hulu contest?
I would position the contest as an exclusive insiders-only opportunity, almost like a secret society on campus. Instead of just saying “enter a contest,” I would frame it as “unlocking access” to something only a select group of students will know about. I would drop cryptic but fun teasers through Instagram Stories, TikTok clips, and posters with QR codes that say things like “Not everyone will find this… will you?” to spark curiosity. To build hype, I would host small invite-only pop-ups where students get a sneak peek of Hulu swag or hidden clues, making it feel like they have stumbled into something rare. On campus, I would strategically place QR codes in student-life hotspots like the library, coffee shops, and study lounges so that finding them feels like part of the secret experience. The mix of exclusivity, mystery, and reward would drive people to join because it feels less like a contest and more like being part of a secret club.

If you had to make a 30-second video to convince students to try a study/productivity app, what idea would you use?
I would make a video that feels like a friendly interruption to someone’s scrolling. It would start with text on screen saying “This is your sign to lock in” with trending audio in the background. Then it would quickly cut between clips of a student putting their phone down, opening the app, and getting into a productive flow. I would end with a split screen, one side showing someone still scrolling endlessly and the other showing a student who finished their study session using the app, to show how much more satisfying it feels to actually get things done.

How comfortable are you creating content that involves other people (friends, classmates, or strangers)? Can you share an example if you’ve done it before?
I am very comfortable creating content that involves other people. I enjoy capturing authentic interactions and making sure everyone feels at ease on camera. For example, I created a vlog about my experience attending the 50th anniversary of the first prom at the White House. The video highlighted both my personal perspective and the collective experience, and it is set to be posted on the People’s House official Instagram. I created this content as part of my role as a Civic Ambassador with Made By Us, which gave me experience in producing meaningful content that represents both individuals and a broader community.
