At the most recent event my team and I hosted, I noticed the week leading up that I was receiving an extremely large amount of emails regarding inability to locate their ticket confirmation emails. The amount of people inquiring about this issue began to stress me out as I had a week's worth of other prep work I had to prioritize. Because of this, I made sure to get to work 1 hour early each day and respond to each individual person and ensure they had their confirmation emails. This was not expected of me as our ticket system allots us the ability to search people's names up in the system when they arrive if they don't come with a ticket, however I understand the anxiety relief it gives guests to have everything they need going into an event, and wanted to give that to them. In the end, it paid off as we had zero issues regarding ticket entry at the door.

The most important part of an event is prioritizing the guest experience above all else. Most of the time, guests are paying money and taking time out of their day to come and experience whatever event you are putting on, therefore it is your responsibility to be a hospitable guide to them in every kind of way.
