I stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends by actively using the platforms every day, not just scrolling but paying attention to what’s gaining traction and why. I watch how creators structure their videos, what sounds and formats are repeating, and how brands adapt trends to fit their voice. I also follow creators and marketing accounts that focus on social strategy, and I test trends myself through content creation, which helps me understand what works in real time. Staying hands-on with the platforms allows me to spot trends early and think about how they can be used authentically rather than forced.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?

What attracts me to influencer and social media marketing is how directly it connects brands with real people. I’m interested in the way creators build trust and community, and how that trust can translate into genuine engagement rather than just traditional advertising. I also enjoy analyzing what content performs well, why it resonates, and how brands can adapt their messaging to stay relevant in fast-moving digital spaces. With my background in business and marketing and my experience creating sports content on social platforms, I’m excited by the opportunity to combine creativity, data, and storytelling to help brands grow authentically.
