How would you slow down a customer who wants to quickly try a sample and then walk away?
I’d slow them down by keeping the interaction light and engaging instead of making it feel like a pitch. If someone grabs a sample and looks like they’re about to dip, I’d say something like, “Hold up, you picked a good one — let me show you why everyone’s been coming back for this flavor.”
That small pause usually gets a smile and buys me a few extra seconds. From there, I’d highlight one quick, impressive benefit that makes the product stand out and naturally sparks interest, like “These brownies are vegan, gluten-free, and actually taste good without all the sugar alcohols.”
People stay when they feel like they’re learning something they wouldn’t have known just from tasting it. I’d keep the tone warm and conversational, ask them what kind of snacks they usually go for, and tie it back to Elavi. It keeps them engaged without ever feeling pressured.

As a creator, I’ve worked with brands like Tapatio, Cheeky Bonsai, Mings Meals, and Gauth, where my role involved explaining the product, demonstrating how it works, and driving real engagement. I also have campus experience with student organizations where I’ve tabled, approached students, and encouraged them to try something new. I’m comfortable introducing a product, answering questions, and creating an environment that makes people feel open and curious instead of pressured.
