I have experience with direct patient care as a former laboratory assistant and ASCP-certified phlebotomist. I worked in large doctor's clinics as a floater so I had to adapt to location changes frequently. As a phlebotomist, I practiced strong attention to detail by confirming my patient's identity and ensuring the correct tests were drawn for that patient. In a fast-paced clinical laboratory, strong communication skills were a must to ensure laboratory protocols were followed by all non-lab staff and test results were reported accurately. I have almost 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry and I am very interested in transferring those skills into a sales career.
