Interview Questions
Muses Consulting Studio
Brand Outreach Specialist

Can you provide an example of a successful brand partnership you've previously negotiated?
One example of a successful brand partnership I helped lead was through a consulting program I organized with Miki House, a premium Japanese childrenswear brand. As President of the Retail, Luxury & Consumer Association, I worked directly with their U.S. office to develop a semester-long student consulting program focused on U.S. market expansion. I negotiated the scope of the partnership, structured the student team, and ensured the deliverables aligned with Miki House’s brand values and goals. The program not only provided valuable insights for the brand but also created meaningful, hands-on experience for our members—demonstrating the power of brand-student collaboration when thoughtfully executed.

How do you ensure your pitches are tailored to resonate with different brands' values and objectives?
To ensure my pitches resonate with different brands' values and objectives, I start by researching their mission, brand voice, and current marketing strategies. I then craft personalized proposals that show how Muses’ student creator network can elevate their campus presence in an authentic, strategic way. As the Founder and President of the Retail, Luxury & Consumer Association at Boston University, I’ve worked directly with top-tier brands like Tiffany & Co., Pandora, and Coach to organize tailored events and speaker sessions. This has given me firsthand experience in understanding brand positioning and aligning partnerships to mutual goals. Combined with my background as a Notion Campus Leader, where I’ve hosted workshops for 300+ students, I’ve learned how to communicate value clearly, adapt messaging to different brand tones, and build trust through thoughtful outreach—whether over email, LinkedIn, or in person.

Why are you obsessed with notion? How do you use Notion in your Day-to-day?
I have been a Notion Campus Leader since January 2023, hosting workshops and events for over 300 students. I love teaching students how to optimize Notion to level up their everyday lives. I use Notion every day—it's the first thing I open in the morning and the last thing I check before going to bed. I plan my entire day, do brain dumps, track habits, map out future plans, calculate grades, and more. It's truly the reason I became a productive morning person and shaped the habits that led to what I’ve achieved today.
