Share a time that you helped someone over the age of 60 that you're not related to.

During my time working at Costco during the global pandemic we hosted senior hours from 9am-10am. This allowed for folks 55+ to gain access to the store and not worry about their pace and rushing for items when the general public was. I served as an aid and supported many customers by being their personal shopper, lifting heavy items, aiding with technology, and helping with the language barrier through my Spanish and Japanese skills.

Do you like working with seniors?

Yes I do! At the University of Southern California I have had the privilege to take classes on gerontology with the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology therefore I have had the chance to really learn about caretaking and occupational therapy.
