Can you share an example of a successful event you organized in the past and how it impacted someone else?
I am a Community Strategist for an organization called Girls Behind The Rock Show that advances women and non-men in the music industry. I contributed to the strategic planning and execution of a sold-out Open Mic Night in Brooklyn, NY, including artist selection, venue procurement, and brand partnership acquisition (Emo Night Brooklyn). Many of the artists who performed in the Open Mic event, said it was extremely organized, fun and they were happy to be a part of our GBTRS event.

What is an example of when you went out of your way to provide an act of kindness from someone who is not an immediate friend or family member?
When I worked at Michaels, a popular craft store, I would always let guests know we had coupons on our website that they could pull up on their phones. Management said we weren’t allowed to mention the coupons unless the customer already had them open. If any managers weren’t near me, I’d scan the main 20% off coupon we had 24/7 at the registers, so the customer would get 20% off their purchase.
