David's Bridal
Content Creator for Prom & Formals

What types of social content and creative ideas do you think will perform best for this audience?
The social content I would create that I think would best perform with Gen Z shoppers is visually pleasing content that feels authentic. Short form videos such as GRWM, Try on Hauls, and before vs after videos that highlight how a dress can not only change a look, but also how someone feels. I believe that relatable, interactive content resonates strongly with this audience. Such as polls and comparison posts that extend an invitation to viewers, making them feel involved in the decision-making process. All while highlighting the diversity of the brand through unfiltered moments. Finally, content that is tied to a specific moment, what the viewer is waiting for. Countdowns and transitions give viewers the satisfaction they've been waiting for while giving time to focus on the dress in emotional and engaging ways.

How would you create content that connects emotionally with prom goers and gen z shoppers?
I would create emotionally resonant content by focusing on the moments and feelings behind formals and special occasions, not only the dress. For Gen Z, these events represent confidence, self-expression, and making memories, so I would curate content that captures the moment of finding "the dress," the feeling of looking your best, and the excitement leading up to the event. I would use authentic, real moments such as POV videos, GRWM, and real try-ons to help the audience see themselves in the content. Being aware of what's trending while maintaining the genuine authenticity of the content that best connects with Gen Z shoppers.

where you you hand out flyers to students?
I would hand out flyers on campus where students are already moving or waiting. At Texas A&M, those places are abundant. One we would prioritize would be students waiting at the bus stop, "Want a different ride to your dorm?" Another would be the Memorial Student Center, the heart of campus, where students are always in foot traffic going to and from class. Lastly, near Northgate entrances on weekends or evening where students already have their ride home on their minds.
