Can you share an example of a successful event you organized in the past and how it impacted someone else?
As Vice President of Spartan Ad Club, I helped organize a fundraising event called “Art for Ads,” a print and art competition where students submitted original artwork to be auctioned off. A portion of the proceeds went to the artists, and the rest supported our club's activities and travel to industry conferences. One of the students who submitted a piece had never showcased their work publicly before. Their art ended up winning the competition and sold for a significant amount. The recognition gave them the confidence to start taking freelance illustration more seriously. Later, they shared with me that the event helped them see a future in creative work that they had previously doubted was possible.

What is an example of when you went out of your way to provide an act of kindness from someone who is not an immediate friend or family member?
While walking home from class, I noticed an older woman struggling to carry multiple grocery bags up a hill. She wasn’t someone I knew—just a stranger passing by. I offered to help her carry the bags to her apartment, which was a few blocks away. Along the way, we talked, and she mentioned she had recently had surgery and found it difficult to manage errands alone. I gave her my number in case she ever needed help again and later connected her with a local volunteer organization that assists seniors with daily tasks. It didn’t take much time, but it clearly made a difference in her day—and in mine.

HOw would you go about making a review stand out?
Be specific: Mention exact details — the dish you loved, the server who helped, the vibe of the place. (Example: "The rosemary chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned — shoutout to Maria for recommending it!") Tell a short story: Set a scene. (Example: "After a long day, DIG felt like the cozy, healthy hug I needed.") Show personality: Write like you talk. A little humor, excitement, or honesty makes it more relatable. Use strong visuals: Post a crisp photo or short video with your review — bright, real-life images catch more attention. Include a 'pro tip': Add a helpful bonus for readers. (Example: "Pro tip: Always add the sweet potatoes. You’ll thank me later.") Keep it short but powerful: People skim — a punchy 2–4 sentence review works better than a giant paragraph.
