Interview Questions
PURE Property Management
Property Data Analyst

What tools do you use for property data analysis?
I have a lot of experience with Microsoft Excel to perform necessary calculations and create insightful infographics which are developed while keeping simple interpretation a priority; but, in addition to Microsoft Excel—regarding gathering useful information for properties—I've also used invaluable tools such as Regrid, PropStream, and PropertyRadar; these aforesaid sources allow me to gather prioritized data, e.g., property values, land usage, ownership, investment potential, etc., anything necessary that would be beneficial for conducting further analysis.

How have you used data to improve a property management process?
I've taken numerous courses in Data Analysis & Visualization, and the graduate level courses I enrolled in involved a project surrounding properties/differing landscapes and the management of natural disasters (i.e., specifically, tornado touchdowns). The gathered data of tornado touchdowns extended over-the-course of a decade, and the primary focus of this project was to adequately display the gathered data in the most efficient manner possible; the resulting graphs provided insights into average temperature, environmental conditions, terrain factors, etc., to determine likelihood of touchdowns across the impacted properties (I have a LinkedIn that shows the graph for this project that I created; I have additional graphs as well showcasing more insights and plan on uploading them soon).
