What's one brand killing their social strategy? Why?

A brand that is killing their social strategy is Bud Light. Although with a positive attempt for diversity by including a trans person on their label, they lost focus of their audience. When it comes to social strategy, one must understand the rhetoric and more specifically what audience they are appealing to. In bud light's case, they are a beer company that is mostly appealing to republicans. Because of this, when they decided to include a trans person on their advertisements for inclusion, they received an extremely large backlash from their community.
